Most of the work happens in the background.

First of all you press a button on your computer which may be, for example, to select a valuation request for one or a number of clients Portfolios.

This request is translated in FAIRS and sent, via the Internet, to the appropriate Product Providers.

The Providers return a response back to FAIRS. FAIRS then automatically updates your policy pages.

It's as simple as that.

In order to use FAIRSOnline you will need the FAIRS system installed with the current 32 bit version in place. You will also need a modem (either internal or external) with a connection to the Internet. Ideally you will have the one line dedicated to FAIRSOnline which will used only when there is active communication.
